Hi! I'm Kevin.

I’m a career coach, business strategist, and speaker living in Los Angeles. In 2016, I left my full-time Director role to align the skills I had gained after 10 years of working in public relations with my passion for people development. 

The agencies that I have worked for - from starting out in music promotions in Atlanta, to my time as a Fashion Publicist in New York, and even my most recent experience as a multicultural marketing strategist for some of the biggest brands in entertainment here in Los Angeles - all had one thing in common:  none of them had a “people” person. HR at these companies was solely an administrative task relegated to internal managers or external consultants. Even with that, there was no one focusing on people development. The unstated motto was always “put client needs first and the people will develop own their own.”

So I became that person. Whether it was helping the interns see the big picture of their contribution, developing processes that supported the growth of entry to mid level managers, or consulting with senior leadership on organizational design and team building, the gap in these companies became the training ground for the work I do now.
